ResCare is an independent contractor to the families who provides respite services for adults with intellectual disability from age 18 and above.

We are responsible for all hiring and training of staff and we employ people who are genuinely interested in supporting your loved ones.

Services You Can Trust

Feel better in the comfort of your own home or home away from home. Respite care can be for a few hours during the day. It can also be overnight or for longer periods like a few weeks or months. You might use respite care occasionally or on a regular basis. We might have a range of respite options depending on where you live, how old your loved one is, what their needs and what you want to get out of respite care. our care will provide an individualised service that you can trust.

Knowledgeable Support Workers

We understand that not one care plan fits all. Daily services can include anything from personal care, meal preparation, community activities, and supervision. We will take the time to get to know you and develop an individualised respite care plan that fits your specific needs.

Companionship is key to a trusted relationship with our support workers. We not only strive to help you and your loved one with everyday tasks but want to develop a caring relationship with the service user and the whanau/family.
